James A. Ryffel is the Founder and Chairman of Woodcrest Capital, LLC and Woodcrest Enterprises, Inc, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Since founding the company in 1981, he has led investments, acquisitions, financing, and developments across commercial real estate, energy, technology, banking, ranching, and venture capital.
Through Woodcrest Capital and his affiliated companies, Mr. Ryffel has built and managed a diverse portfolio of neighborhood retail centers, office properties, land investments, and other real estate assets throughout Texas and the United States. He also founded Woodcrest Oil & Gas and continues to participate in selected energy investments.
Mr. Ryffel is widely recognized for his leadership in philanthropy, education, and youth development. He serves on the National Executive Board of Scouting America and previously served as President of the Longhorn Council and Chairman of the Philmont Ranch Committee. He is the founder and benefactor of the Ryffel Entrepreneurship Center at Texas Christian University and the founder of Camp Eagle, a nationally recognized Christian youth camp in Texas.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Business Administration degree and is a graduate of the Texas Christian University Ranch Management Program. With more than four decades of business and community leadership, Mr. Ryffel is respected as an entrepreneur, investor, mentor, and civic leader.

Travis Ryffel serves as President where he oversees the firm’s commercial real estate investment, acquisition, leasing, and asset management operations. He brings over 15 years of sourcing, underwriting, and managing investment real estate assets.
A Fort Worth native, Travis earned a B.B.A. in Finance–Real Estate from Texas Christian University before obtaining his J.D. and Business Law Concentration certificate from Texas A&M University School of Law.
Travis is licensed to practice law in Texas, is a Texas Licensed Real Estate Broker, and is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the National Association of Realtors.

Teresa serves as Executive Assistant to the Founder & Chairman of Woodcrest and brings more than 30 years of experience to the organization. She plays a central leadership role in company operations, especially in facilitating the acquisition and disposition of property. Teresa also coordinates property financing and supports key strategic initiatives. Teresa’s depth of knowledge and steady oversight help ensure the company operates seamlessly at every level. Her unwavering dedication, both personally and professionally, makes her a valuable part of the Woodcrest team.

Michael Roy is the Chief Operating Officer of Woodcrest Capital, where he oversees the firm’s national real estate portfolio and day-to-day operations. With more than 15 years at Woodcrest, he has played a key role in scaling the company’s portfolio and optimizing asset performance across multiple markets. His leadership focuses on operational efficiency, strategic growth, and delivering long-term value across the organization’s investments.

As the Chief Technology Officer, Eric provides a guiding hand in navigating the ever-changing technology landscape. With a particular emphasis on security, operational efficiency, and lately AI implementation, he is leading many efforts to support and improve company operations across the board. Eric also directly leads the marketing efforts for the entire portfolio in support of the leasing team. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Sustainable Engineering through Rochester Institute of Technology. An Eagle Scout from Fort Worth, Eric returned to Woodcrest in 2014 and in his spare time can often be found biking, baking, or traveling.

Paula Ramsay is the Controller for Woodcrest and as such is responsible for the overarching accounting processes and policies. This includes all aspects of accounting functions, computer software conversions, integration of acquisitions, and cash flow management. She joined the Woodcrest team in 2011, bringing over 20 years of diversified accounting and management experience.

Connie oversees management and staffing across all commercial retail centers and office buildings, mentoring and guiding managers through the ever-changing day-to-day operations of property management. She leads with a hands-on approach, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high standards across the portfolio.
A highly skilled and experienced professional, Connie directly leads the property management team that oversees all in-house managed properties, and collaborates daily with Samantha Ackerman, who oversees third-party managed properties. She plays a key role in property operations, ensuring assets are well-maintained and tenant needs are met. Connie supervises property managers, maintenance teams, and support staff, while implementing policies and procedures that drive operational success.
She is instrumental in developing her team, providing ongoing training and mentorship while supporting managers in budgeting and financial oversight. Connie closely monitors property performance, including rent collections, accounts payable, and expense management, ensuring each asset operates efficiently and within budget. She also oversees legal and insurance matters related to each property.
Collaboration is central to her role, as she works closely with brokers and construction to ensure compliance with lease requirements and effective financial management across the portfolio.
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Connie has been a valued member of the Woodcrest team since 2010 and has called the DFW area home for over 25 years. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband Norm, reading, solving puzzles, and spending time with her family.
