Michael Roy is the President of Woodcrest Management Company. He oversees the operations for Woodcrest’s commercial portfolio as well as the Property Management team. Michael graduated from Texas Christian University and has been with Woodcrest since 2011.

Connie is a highly skilled and experienced professional who oversees the in-house commercial portfolio and works closely with Michael Roy who oversees the third-party managed properties. She plays a key role in managing property operations, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and tenants’ needs are met. As part of her responsibilities, Connie supervises property managers, maintenance staff, and all employees involved in the day-to-day operations of the centers, implementing policies and procedures that drive efficiency.

Connie is also instrumental in training and mentoring property management staff, helping them develop and manage budgets for each property in their portfolio. She actively monitors the financial performance of each property, overseeing rent collection, accounts payable, and expense management. Furthermore, she is responsible for managing all legal and insurance matters related to each shopping center entity.

A critical part of Connie’s role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with lease requirements and the effective management of each center’s budget.

Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Connie has been a valued member of the Woodcrest team since 2010 and has enjoyed living in the DFW area for over 20 years. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, solving puzzles, and spending quality time with her family.

Samantha Ackerman is a Property Manager for Woodcrest Management. She was born and raised in the Fort Worth TX area but spent five years in Austin before returning back to her home town of Azle in 2016. She had worked in the real estate industry for 7 years before joining Woodcrest in 2021. After receiving her real estate license Samantha realized she enjoyed the office side of Real Estate. She has experience managing a retail and investment brokerage office, as well as with RV park property management and back-office support for buying and leasing Self-Storage sites. When not working Samantha can be found with a house full of friends of family, watching football, or attending her kids’ volleyball and football games.

Maria is a Property Manager for Woodcrest Management. Her portfolio mostly contains properties in the DFW area, West Texas, and Central Oklahoma. She is responsible for corresponding with tenants to support their businesses, and maintaining the operations and appearance of her properties. Before joining the Woodcrest team in 2023, Maria started her career in residential property management. She made the transition to commercial real estate in 2021 and has been in the industry ever since. Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time with friends & family, going to concerts, and attending local car shows.

Lindsey Shelton joined Woodcrest in 2023 as the admin for our property management team. Lindsey brings with her experience in property management, having been an on-site manager in California for 4 years. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her dog, spending time with family, and traveling.

Tracy McDonald is Manager of the Woodcrest Maintenance Team in the DFW area.  He is responsible for the scheduling and execution of all commercial and residential property maintenance requests in support of the Property Management Team.  Tracy arrived at Woodcrest in 2018 after a 5 year tour with Blackmon Mooring Steamatic as a Water/Fire/Smoke Remediation Supervisor with their National Response Team.  Prior to his time with Blackmon Moring he retired from the Department of Defense (civilian) as a Senior Logistics Analyst after 31 years of service.  Tracy enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sports fan of the TCU Horn Frogs and Texas Rangers.
